We can always use extra hands for the following events: Breakfast with Santa, Gingerbread Houses, Santa’s Cookie Decorating and the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.	Apply Today! Join us this summer for Concert By The Lake! The Thursday night concert series is a huge draw attracting thousands to the Harbor amphitheater. It's another reason why Rockwall is the Live Music Capital of North Texas. Volunteers are needed to help with various throughout the evening, all while enjoying a great show!	Apply Today! It's fun! It's rewarding! It's your chance to be a Festival volunteer! We need help with everything from set up to tear down, including directing traffic, helping with parking, assisting bands with their equipment and everything in between!. Ask anyone who's volunteered for a previous Founder's Day Festival: We work hard but we have a lot of fun!

Volunteers participate in a multitude of services, including repairing and painting benches, bridges, and fences; park clean-up, planting annual flowers, and many more projects that may suit you. City officials and employees welcome your assistance, enthusiasm, and skillfulness in maintaining the integrity of this beautiful town.	Apply Today! It’s a fun filled day featuring good music and good barbecue! The day-long celebration includes a 5k/10k run, live music, kids zone, wing tasting competition and IBCA Sanctioned BBQ competition! Volunteers are needed to help with the BBQ competition, set up and tear down and manning booths throughout the day! It’s a great way to get involved and support your community all while having a good time!	Apply Today! The City of Rockwall Police Department’s volunteer programs bring citizens and their police department together in a cooperative effort to make our city safer. The highly successful community programs include: Citizens Police Academy, Citizens on Patrol, Crime Stoppers, Texas Night Out, Neighborhood Crime Watch and Unidos Program.
Interest Form In 2005, the Rockwall Fire Department developed a CERT program to promote a partnering effort between emergency services and the people they serve. In every emergency, quick response from a trained person is essential. When disaster strikes, emergency services are quickly overwhelmed and have limited capabilities, leaving families and neighborhoods to support and care for themselves until emergency services can arrive. In major disaster, this can take anywhere from a few hours to several days. The goal of CERT is to provide basic response training that individuals can use in their own home, neighborhood, and work place. The volunteer members of Rockwall CERT come from various neighborhoods, community organizations, and workplaces in the City of Rockwall and surrounding areas, making our community more resilient during disasters. CERT members are also called upon during major disasters, structure fires, and wide area searches to operate under the direction of emergency services if more manpower is needed.
