Celebrate summer! Spend an evening in Downtown Rockwall’s newest public space, San Jacinto Plaza. Enjoy free live music Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 6:30PM to 9:00PM. Café style tables and chairs, available first-come, first served. Seat walls fill the space but guests are welcome to bring chairs, food and beverages. Please view the calendar at the top of this page for dates and artists information.
 
Rockwall Farmers Market
Saturdays May - September

ONE OF THE "BEST FARMERS MARKETS" IN THE DALLAS AREA. Established in 2008 by Friends of Downtown Rockwall, the Market is a Saturday morning staple! Purchase fresh produce and specialty foods such as grass-fed beef, free range poultry, fresh baked artisan breads, farm eggs, honey, jams, pasta, tamales to name a few. 8AM to Noon.

Spring Fling
Thursday, March 22nd

Grab your girlfriends and head to Downtown Rockwall for a night of fun! Refreshments, prize drawings, store specials and shuttle service throughout the downtown district. Swag bags for first 30 attendees. Premier shopping event Thursday night, March 22nd from 5PM – 10PM.

Movers, Shakers & Makers
Saturday, May 5th

An open-air market where the best and most creative local artisans are invited to showcase their unique, funky, whimsical, hard to find, hand-made wares as well as creative food bites and fun food trucks. The MSM will be held on opening day of Farmers Market.

Cinco de Mayo Celebration Downtown

Rockwall Old Town Shoppes host the festive celebration. A Sip & Stroll event begins at 5PM with entertainment on the Historic Courthouse Stage at 6PM, including Norma Valles, Mariachi and Ballet Folklorico. Guests are welcome to bring chairs and food and beverages. More information:

Rib Rub Run & Roll

Each fall, teams fire up their grills for a smokin’ hot barbecue competition in Downtown Rockwall! Residents and visitors flock to historic downtown for a fun filled day featuring good music and good barbecue! The all day celebration includes a 5k/10k run, live music, kid’s zone, wing tasting competition, car show and IBCA Sanctioned BBQ competition!

Hometown Christmas Celebration
Saturday, December 1st

Celebrate the season in Historic Downtown Rockwall! All your favorite community events are combined for an all-day family celebration. The day begins with the Annual Kiwanis Christmas parade at 9AM! After the parade head downtown for a visit with Santa in San Jacinto Plaza, snow flurries included!. Other activities on the square include: Find Frosty Scavenger Hunt, caricature artist, hot chocolate bar, bounce houses, snow tubing hill and more. Visitor information booth will be set up in San Jacinto Plaza all day with smiling faces to provide event details and answer questions. After a fun filled day, head down the hill to City Hall for the annual tree lighting ceremony at 6PM.
